SOLD OUT
Recorded in the hot summer of
1997, POPoetry was a collaboration between David Horner and
musician and sound engineer David Jones. Both Davids say,
"Neither of us quite knew what we were up to when we started.
However we found we liked the sounds we both made and so we recorded 11
poems from the books So there! and Talking With Your
Mouth Full plus a poem specially for the recording."
The cassette proved very popular and live worked followed which the two
Davids found hugely enjoyable.
Interesting Tape Fact 1:
Neither David had to stand on the other's shoulders for the cover
photograph.
Interesting Tape Fact 2: For a long time the project had no
name and it was finally David Horner's son Ben who came up with POPoetry.
Unfortunately POPoetry
(Rock Garden - POP01) is no longer available on cassette and so out of the kindness of his
heart David Horner has allowed you to download the tracks from POPoetry
in MP3 format. This will allow you to play these songs on your
PC. You will need some MP3 playing software which you can download
for free at www.winamp.com.
